This map provides an outline of the geographical areas covered by Derbyshire Constabulary and the Police Authority.
The county of Derbyshire is divided into three main areas. For policing purposes, these are called divisions (sometimes also referred to as BCU's, which stands for Basic Command Units). Within each division sit smaller policing sections. In turn, these are broken down into even smaller areas called safer neighbourhoods.
The Derbyshire Constabulary website contains further information about policing areas within the county.
You can also use the enlarged maps and postcode search facility provided by Derbyshire Constabulary to find out who patrols your neighbourhood.
